Jason was born and raised in the mid-west until he joined the military in 1992 to be a part of the Navy’s Nuclear Engineering Program. He served as a nuclear mechanical engineer until 1998 at which point he moved his family to northern California where he still lives today. In 1998, he began his career in IT and became heavily vested in the networking field. He and his business partner, started Development Group in 2009 and have grown the company to nearly 20 employees, three office locations (including Southern Oregon), and over eight-figure revenue values in those three years. Jason was recognized as a ‘Top 20 under 40’ business person in 2011, and Development Group continues to be recognized as a top business performer with acknowledgements such as ‘Downtown Redding Business of the Year’ as well as ‘Best Place to Work in Shasta County’. Jason is a frequently serves as the keynote speaker at business conferences to get people ‘fired up’ with topics including Advanced Networking Technologies, Establishing IT Relevancy, and the Art of Business Objectives. His dedication in making his business successful is only surpassed by his passion for his four children – oh, and coaching his U12 travelling soccer team.
